Parks
Springdale features some of the best park facilities in the region. From the magnificent Randal Tyson Sports Complex on the west side of town to the pastoral Murphy Park downtown to the girls’ softball and park complex at J.B. Hunt Park in north Springdale and our newest Charlie and Willie George Park, the city continues to improve and expand its quality park offerings.

Murphy Park
 Oldest of the city's parks is Murphy Park,  located in the heart of Springdale at the intersection of Maple Avenue  and South Pleasant Street. The newly renovated park's features include the award-winning  Springdale Aquatic Park, Springdale Youth Center, Springdale Public  Library and the Murphy Park Duck Pond.  Walking trails, picnic areas, pavilions and  play areas make this tree-filled park a great venue.
Springdale Aquatic Center
 One of the largest public aquatic centers in the region is the  award-winning Springdale Aquatic Park, located in Murphy Park. Thousands  of families from across Northwest Arkansas make their way to the $4  million facility's multiple pools and slides each summer. A competitive  swimming and diving pool as well as a large play pool dominate the  facility. Large twisting slides empty into the play pool while two other  areas are dedicated to the younger tots not quite ready for the open  water.
Randal Tyson Park
 Randal Tyson Park is a 70-acre wonderland designed for baseball,  softball, soccer, tennis, basketball and the Miracle League Complex. The  park is located between 40th and 48th Streets, south of Watkins Avenue.  It's the primary site for youth and adult league games during the  summer months. Four youth baseball fields are fully equipped with lights  and scoreboards with two fields kept in championship shape for the many  regional & national tournaments hosted at the complex. Adult  softball fields are nearby as are regulation baseball fields for older  leagues. Soccer fields get use year round as do the lighted tennis  courts, the Rotary Adventure Park which provides accessible playground  fun for all ages and basketball courts adjacent to two different lighted  pavilions and the parks trail system. Two Miracle League baseball fields are located in this park, providing barrier free access to our national pasttime for those with mental and/or physical disabilities.
J.B. Hunt Park
 J.B. Hunt Park opened in 2001 and provides  expansive opportunities for walking, jogging, and disc golf in addition to  beautiful wide open spaces. Located at Fleming Avenue between Pump  Station and Silent Grove Road in north Springdale, J.B. Hunt Park was  expanded to 148 acres in 2014 with the purchase of the 43-acre Rabbits  Foot Lodge property. The Lodge, on the National Register of Historic  Places, was built in 1909. Sen. J. William Fulbright and his family once  lived in the Lodge. J.B. Hunt Park, which features vast lawns of green  space, is home to the city's girl softball leagues. J.B. Hunt Park is adjacent to Lake Springdale and the  Razorback Regional Greenway.
C.L. "Charlie" and Willie George Park
Opened  to the public in June of 2016, this 75-acre park is located at the  intersection of Don Tyson  Parkway and Hylton Road. The new park  features the region's only youth baseball/softball fields with  artificial turf infields, insuring rainout-proof games. The park will  also includes  Springdale's only splash pad and dog park. In addition to  four pavilions available for rent, the  park has a youth football  field, 6 soccer fields, 4 tennis courts and  a walking/jogging trail.
Luther George Grove Street Park
 One of the city’s oldest  parks is also home to the city's skate park just east of the city’s  business district. The park is also equipped with playground equipment  for children, and picnic pavilions. A new playground was added in 2015  thanks to a donation from the Springdale Kiwanis Club.
Bobby Hopper Park
 This park is nestled between Huntsville  Avenue and Emma Avenue in east Springdale. Recently renovated with new  turf soccer fields, the park also offers a playground and a pavilion.
Bayyari Park
 This neighborhood park in northeast Springdale features green space, playground equipment and modern pavilion and facilities.
